As we reach the final week of the academic year, we are filled with immense pride for our children's achievements. From our youngest Mini Dragons to our Year 2 children, every student has been on a remarkable journey of growth and discovery. Their development and accomplishments are a testament to their hard work and the supportive environment at our school.


Throughout the year, our students have embodied our core values of Integrity, Courage, Humility, Empathy, and Generosity. These values have been the foundation of our classroom promises, guiding the children in their daily interactions and learning experiences. It has been wonderful to see these values in action as the children supported one another, took on new challenges, and showed kindness in their words and actions.


This week has been particularly special as we celebrated the children's achievements at our Early Years and Year 1 and 2 Prize Day Events. Thank you so much to all the parents who joined us. It was a wonderful opportunity to come together and celebrate the hard work and success of our students.


A huge congratulations to our Mini Dragons children who graduated this week. We held a Mini Dragon's Graduation ceremony where the children took to the stage in their gowns and hats to celebrate their year in Mini Dragons. This was a joyous occasion and a proud moment for everyone involved.


I would also like to take this opportunity to thank our teachers and Learning Assistants for their outstanding dedication and commitment to the children. Their care and attention have been instrumental in the children's development and success throughout the year.


The children are now ready to take the next steps in their exciting journey here at DBS, and we can't wait to welcome them back after the summer break. Have a super summer, and we look forward to welcoming the children back on Wednesday, 21st August.
