This week, Year 5 linked their humanities studies on ancient Greece to a hands-on cooking experience by making traditional Greek Tzatziki sauce. As they prepared this classic dish using yogurt, cucumber, garlic, and herbs, students engagingly connected with ancient Greek culture. Enjoying the creamy, tangy Tzatziki with warm pita bread allowed them to experience a taste of history. The activity was a hit across all Year 5 classes, providing an enjoyable and educational break from routine, and deepening their appreciation for ancient Greek traditions.
