DBS was represented at the Pho3nixs Kids Triathlon series at Pattana Sports Centre by 12 students ranging from Year 2-6.

It was wonderful to see the students supporting each other very early on a Sunday morning to swim, bike and run the triathlon course at the Pattana Sports Centre. The course distances varied from the beginner level, 8-9 years age group: 25m swim, 1km cycle and 800m run to the advanced level 11- 13 years age group: 300m swim, 5km cycle and 1.5km run.

DBS has always been represented by a small number of students and it has been fantastic to see the sport develop and grow over the years.

Congratulations to Rael, Aden, Snowy, Lissy, Posy, Adrian, Fuji, Charlotte, Ella, Vienna, Callen and Lochlan. If you are interested in joining the Triathlon club or the competition please speak to Mr Neville or Mrs Mat. Go Dragons!

The DBS community lives by the following values: humility, generosity, courage, integrity, and empathy.

These values are evident in their support of the Pho3nixs Kids Triathlon series. By participating, the young athletes demonstrate courage as they tackle the swim, bike, and run course. They also exemplify generosity by supporting their fellow competitors, and humility by acknowledging the effort required to complete the triathlon.

The DBS community fosters a spirit of integrity by encouraging good sportsmanship, and empathy by creating a space where students can challenge themselves and grow together.
