Tulip Class: Vegetables Week

 

The Tulips learned all about vegetables this week! We had some fun activities exploring the smells, textures, and shapes of different vegetables. We read the story, "Oliver's Vegetables", about a boy who does not like vegetables but loves french fries. Oliver helps his grandfather in the garden and learns that french fries come from potatoes. The Tulips planted their very own seeds this week, helping us grow some vegetables in the classroom. The Tulip friendships are growing and it has been lovely to see their creative play together.
