Sunflower Class - 24th May 2024

 

This week in the Sunflower Class we have continued the theme of healthy eating with a focus on fruit.  We have been looking at the stories, The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle and Oliver’s Fruit Salad by Vivian French.  

The children loved helping with the preparations to welcome their families into the class on Wednesday and we are very proud of the children's growing independence and sense of responsibility.  They each made a place mat and set the table ready for their families to arrive.  They understood that they were going to make a fruit salad, just like Oliver in the story.  We also learnt a song all about fruit that the children loved singing to you all.
