The children have been so happy to be able to spend so much time outside this week. We have managed to get to the Early Years Garden at least once a day and the Mini Dragon's Garden twice. I have also wiggled around our daily timetables to allow us to have some lovely big chunks of time to get creative in the classroom. The Jellyfish have been doing lots of junk modeling this week and we have talking about and planning all of their projects. I have asked them to gather the materials they will need, pour their paints, and think of the best ways to join pieces together. this has helped their independence and problem-solving. We are working towards the children going to Reception so and providing lots of opportunities for them to take responsibility for and look after themselves. They are growing up fast!
