Hedgehog Class 🦔

This week in Hedgehog Class, we delved into the concept of equivalent fractions. Our exploration included finding a third of various numbers and shapes, and using this knowledge to determine 3/4. We then applied our understanding to solve reasoning questions.

In Design and Technology, we tested our teamwork and resilience through a paper tower challenge. Given just 10 minutes, scrap paper, and tape, the task was to build the tallest freestanding tower. It was fantastic to see the children collaborating effectively in groups and employing creative techniques to stabilise their towers.

On Wednesday's open day, the Hedgehog Class showcased their impressive learning by presenting their Traction Man story map on stage. I am incredibly proud of each and every one of them!
