Hedgehog
The Hedgehogs started the week with a swimming gala, and it was wonderful to see all the children being supportive of their house teams and classmates. A big well done to all the children who swam! On Wednesday, the Hedgehogs had an enrichment day filled with various activities centered around our book, "Traction Man." They loved baking cakes, making a 'Traction Man' house, and designing a house for him. This week in maths, the Hedgehogs had a lot of fun learning about position and direction! They explored placing counters correctly by following instructions, working wonderfully in partner groups. Each student took turns giving and following directions such as "place the red counter to the right of the blue counter." We focused on understanding the terms 'above' and 'below'. We had an amazing end to the week with our assembly, which truly showcased all their superb learning and hard work. I am super proud of each and every one of them.
