DBS experienced an exciting morning during the annual DBS "The Voice" House competition.

Adding a fresh twist to the event this year was the introduction of the House Shout segment, where senior students graced the stage as a collective house to showcase their vocal prowess. With a thematic nod to Book Week, all performances were required to incorporate a literary theme into their songs.

Each house poured their heart and soul into their performances, but it was the dynamic rendition of "Be Our Guest" from Disney's Beauty and the Beast by Windsor House that secured the victory, with Sandringham House claiming a commendable runner-up position.

Transitioning to the individual category of the competition, soloists representing each house battled it out for the coveted The Voice trophy. The exceptional talent showcased by DBS students made it a challenging decision for our esteemed panel of judges.

Ultimately, Matoom from Buckingham emerged triumphant, with Timmy from Sandringham clinching the runner-up title.
