Sunflower Class

It was lovely to welcome all the children back after the school holiday and to celebrate Book Week.

We have been focusing on the wonderful series of books “That’s Not My….”  This series is designed to develop children’s sensory awareness and to promote language.  Along with sharing some of the books, it has been a great opportunity to explore a wide range of different materials and introduce children to words such as “smooth”, “rough”, “bumpy”, “squashy”.  We have also created our very own book of “That’s Not My Mini Dragon” which we read as our bedtime story on Friday afternoon.
