Nursery school trip to the Bangkok Butterfly and Insectarium
On Thursday 4th April, Nursery took a very exciting trip to the Bangkok Insectarium and Butterfly Garden!
The children were thrilled to ride on the coach together for the first time, and showed great listening skills when experiencing an interesting talk by a butterfly specialist. We saw many different types of caterpillars, as well as tiny eggs and colourful cocoons leading to very engaged and enthusiastic children.
After talking about the life cycle of the butterfly, we went out in the special butterfly garden where we found many different butterflies amongst the greenery. Some children were even brave enough to hold a butterfly, and were very careful to keep them as safe as possible.
Our Nursery children loved having a special picnic lunch together! After this, the children also took part in a great scavenger hunt outside in the forest area, to see what they could find out in the natural world.
We saw all kinds of leaves, insects, birds and even a house made of sticks! To finish our great trip, the children were thrilled to play together in the climbing area before returning back to school by coach.
A great first school trip for Nursery!
