Caterpillar Class - 5th April
An amazing end to the term this week with the wonderful Songkran activities from today. We hope you enjoyed the puppet show and we all had so much fun with the water pouring and water activities and games.
This week also saw Reception going on a trip out to Pa Jeep Farm where the children were able to interact with animals such as buffalo, worms, toads, chicks and ducks followed by lots of fun play on the mud slide and in the bubbles. What a fantastic end to our work with the story Farmer Duck. We are excited to find out what our next story will be. Another fun activity was the house Easter Egg Hunt where we all worked together in our houses to find the hundreds of eggs scattered around our corridor.
In Maths this week we continued our number journey looking at numbers up to 20 and practicing making those numbers with objects, numicon and writing them independently. Our writing focus used our experience at Pa Jeep Farm and it was nice to look at all the photos and pick out our favorite parts to write about. The children were so enthusiastic pointing out what they had done and using their phonics knowledge to write words and sentences. We are so proud of the progress the children have made this term and we hope you all have a wonderful holiday.
