Year 1 and 2 Creative Curriculum Week

Year 1 and 2 embarked on their second creative curriculum week; this time with a focus on History. Using the theme of space, they have travelled through the milky way galaxy learning all about astronauts, space travel and the planets in our solar system. 

Over the week, they have learnt about the first moon landing and had a go at creating a news broadcast for this; how astronauts live in the International Space Station and some of the challenges they face up there. 

To celebrate the week, children went on a trip to the Bangkok Planetarium, where they got to see some space artefacts up close as well as enjoy a show in the Planetarium, where they felt like they were in space. Children saw how the stars form different constellations and what the inside of the sun looks like!
