Sunflower Class

This week we have continued our exploration of colour, linked to the stories “Orange, Bear, Apple, Pear” by Emily Gravett and “Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you see?” By Bill Martin Jr and illustrated by Eric Carle.  At the art table the children have been painting different coloured bears each day whilst exploring what happens when you mixed two colours together.  Then on Thursday we mixed several colours together to make a brown bear!

We have also been exploring different parts of DBS, both inside and outside.  These trips are a great opportunity for the children to extend their knowledge and understanding of the world, as they see more of the school environment and the people in our wider community. We also noticed lots of different colours as we walked around!
