Mini Dragons Daisy Class

The Daisy class had so much fun engaging with our sensory herbs and soaps last week, that we decided to let more magic bubbles happen this week.  The children have been totally engrossed with scraping, peeling, chopping and mashing up our different herbs to make their own unique scents, as well as add them to our play dough! It's been a wonderful experience watching the children discover how different ingredients can combine to make new and exciting smells!

This week, as part of Diversity Week, we have been reading lots of Elmer stories, as well as 'The Mixed Up Chameleon' by Eric Carle, and 'Rainbow Fish' by Marcus Pfister.  These stories remind us that no matter who we are, no matter how we look, where we come from or how we feel, we are all one big family that can offer a lot of love and kindness.
