Ladybird Week - 1st March

This week in our classroom has been filled with exciting discoveries and learning adventures! Our students were thrilled to stumble upon a mysterious surprise: seeds and a letter left by none other than Farmer Duck. This intriguing find sparked a deep curiosity about the world of plants, prompting us to delve into discussions about how different plants grow and thrive. As we explored the essentials for plant growth, we also embarked on a delightful journey through the pages of 'Farmer Duck', realising the uncanny connection between the story and our classroom surprise. In mathematics, our focus has been on building strong foundations with number bonds, utilising numbers 1-9 to unlock the secrets of creating larger numbers. It's been a week of growth, discovery, and exciting connections in our classroom!
