Hedgehog Class

It was an amazing start to STEAM week. Hedgehogs watched in awe as we explored the concept of time. We learnt how sometimes time can 'feel' short or long and how this can also depend on what activity we are doing. 

During the week we also had the opportunity to create our own soap! We learnt about the components of soap and how to correctly create the mixture. I am very proud of them all, they all listened to instructions well, complimented each others creations and showed politeness to our fantastic instructor. 

In science, we have been continuing our learning about light and dark. To explore the concept of light sources further, we worked as a team to create a den! We questioned why will could still see even though we tried to block out the light sources.  

In maths, we made an excellent start to learning about mass. We have been using scales to help us learn how to read them correctly. 

Their creativity and team work has shone bright this week!
