Head of Pre-Prep's Message
We've had an absolutely fantastic STEAM week filled with captivating activities that have ignited curiosity and creativity in our young learners. Our week kicked off with an awe-inspiring assembly led by Katie McMillan. The theme centred around 'Time', and Katie wowed the children with a range of experiments. From balloon races powered by different methods to the grand finale of 'elephant toothpaste', where a chemical reaction created a foamy explosion, the children were utterly captivated. Their reactions were priceless, ranging from wide-eyed wonder to infectious laughter!
This week, we welcomed Bangkok Soap Opera to our Pre-Prep, offering our children hands-on experience in soap making. The delightful scents wafting through the department were evidence of the joyous exploration happening within. We hope your children enjoyed crafting their own soaps and sharing this experience with you at home.
A heartfelt thank you to the parents of our Nursery and Reception children who attended the Parent Teacher Meetings. These meetings are invaluable opportunities to strengthen our partnership in nurturing your child's development. Your engagement and support are truly appreciated.
As we head into the weekend, we encourage you to continue fostering curiosity and exploration with your child. Whether it's a nature walk, a kitchen experiment, or simply reading together, every moment is an opportunity for growth and discovery.
Wishing you all a super weekend ahead.
Best regards,
Sophie Berry
