U9 and U11 boys and girls compete in only our second ever BISA tournament, in Basketball
Last weekend saw the U9 and U11 boys and girls compete in only our second ever BISA tournament, in Basketball. The U9 boys played at Kings whilst the girls played at St Andrews and the U11's all played at Shrewsbury Riverside.
We are delighted to let you know that across the 4 tournaments our U9 Girls WON the 'A' BISA tournament by beating Kings in the finals (and did not lose a match throughout the group stages). Our boys won all 3 of their group games convincingly against tough competition and were heroic in the final but eventually losing to St Andrew's in a well fought match.
Our U11's had a slightly tougher day against strong competition, at Shrewsbury, but ultimately we're extremely proud that they showed the Dragon spirit and never gave up at any stage. We learn as we go but we are extraordinarily proud of the students involved in the BISA tournaments but also all of the fixtures throughout the term so far. We are building a culture of determination, grit and passion. We are performing well above expectations for our first season in BISA. Go Dragons!
