The Reception children enjoyed celebrating their learning about bridges of the world! This term all the Reception children have been reading the Talk 4 Write story 'The 3 Billy Goats Gruff' and have learnt what bridges are used for and how they are constructed.
The children were set a fun challenge to work together in pairs or groups of their choice to discuss and build their own bridges across the 'river'.
The children could choose materials of their choice and their finishes were spectacular! Some children even managed to programme the Beebot digital programmable toys to cross the bridges that were strong enough.
