Rhyme time and Chinese New Year - Sunflower Class 🌻

This week it was lovely to welcome those families who were able to join us for Family Time.  
This was a great opportunity for the children to share some of their favourite nursery rhymes with you and show how we have been learning these through our play.  It is wonderful to see how much the children have grown in confidence and how their understanding has developed since the start of Mini Dragons.  

We also celebrated Chinese New Year this week.  The children loved learning about how families prepare for the celebration by decorating their homes.  Watching the Lion Dance on Friday morning was very exciting and the children then had the chance to continue exploring this celebration through their play.  

We hope you all have a lovely weekend.  Next week we will be making preparations for our International Day celebrations on Friday 16th February and we are excited to share these with you all.
