Mini Dragons Class

This week the Mini Dragons have been happily learning about the animals of the Chinese Zodiac! We have been using puppets, toys, stories and songs to learn the names of all the animals from the Great Race. The children especially love the ferocious DRAGON!  We have made some fire-breathing dragon crafts and been exploring lots of stories with dragons in them.

We have also been busy in the Chinese takeaway making dumplings to sell! The children love using the white playdough to make rice dumplings, which they then pack in containers and write down the order.  They even use the toy phone to make an order for delivery.

This has been a wonderful week of learning, and we are excited for next week's International Day!
