Butterfly Class

Thank you to all of our wonderful parents for all coming to support your children during our Family Time session this week. The children were full of joy and were so happy to share their learning with you all. Thank you for your continued support as always. This week has been a hive of activity in the Butterfly classroom. We have visited the wood work zone again and spent time rehearsing for the amazing Chinese New Year celebrations tomorrow! The children have once again demonstrated their brilliance and confidence on the stage and I know you will be proud of them all. We held our end of loop celebration in the Reception corridors, where we turned the learning space into a huge river. The children worked in partners or groups to design bridges big and strong enough for an electrical programmable toy 'goat' to cross- what fun! In maths we continue to work on our number sense skills and are getting really good at using 10 frames to help us notice mathematical patterns. Amazing work, Butterflies.
