U9 Boys Basketball vs Shrewsbury

On Monday 15th January, we had our first game of the season for the U9 boys basketball team. We played against Shrewsbury and they came to our school to play.

We had many parents turn out to give the players much needed support. It being our first game, there were many nerves and everyone was excited to play. We started the game strong and built a good lead. Most importantly, everyone was involved. From strong defensive plays and great passing, the boys were flowing.

The teamwork and communication was really impressive. It was great to see them apply the skills we have taught them during our Games Lessons. The final score was 22 - 4.

The Dragons will have to continue their hard work and perseverance as they prepare for the BISA tournament at the end of the month.
