The Diamond Challenge

Two teams of Year 10 students have been finalising their applications for the Diamond Challenge. The Diamond Challenge is a competition hosted by the University of Delaware for high school students to showcase their groundbreaking innovations. In the first stage of the competition, students needed to write a concept narrative and create an introductory video about their business. Our students have chosen to enter the social innovation track, which means that their business ideas aim to solve social and environmental issues, including food waste and the rise in people's dietary requirements. If students make it to the next round of the competition, they will be invited to a virtual pitch, during which they will present live to a board of judges.

I would like to express a big thank you and congratulations to Ali, Disha, Ben, Ink, and Lydia for your time and dedication to the competition so far. I look forward to seeing how you progress in the competition.
