Head of Pre-Prep's Message

Dear Parents,

I hope this message finds you well, and that you enjoyed a joyful and restful Christmas holiday with your families. As we embark on a new year, it is my pleasure to extend a warm welcome back to all our Pre-Prep families. The children have settled back into their routines wonderfully after the Christmas break. Their energy and enthusiasm are truly heartwarming, creating a vibrant atmosphere in our Pre-Prep community. We also extend a warm welcome to our newest Mini Dragons Class - the Tulips. We are excited to have these young learners join our vibrant community.

In addition to our new students, I am pleased to introduce new members of our dedicated staff who have already made positive contributions to our school community, and we are excited to have them on board:

  • Ms Courtney Scott (Hedgehog Class Teacher)

  • Ms. Erng

  • Mr. Gino

  • Ms. Angel

  • Ms. Tip

  • Ms. Pair

In Reception, we are thrilled to share that the children have started engaging in woodwork activities. This hands-on experience not only fosters creativity but also enhances their fine motor skills. We believe in providing a well-rounded education that includes diverse learning experiences, and the introduction of woodwork is an exciting addition to our curriculum.

I would like to express our gratitude to Khun Tavan, father of Theo and Thea, for visiting the Nursery children and conducting engaging science experiments focused on germs. The children were captivated by the experience, and it's wonderful to see parents actively participating in our educational journey. If any other parents are interested in sharing their expertise and enriching the learning environment for our children, please do not hesitate to get in touch. Your involvement is invaluable, and it contributes to a holistic education that extends beyond the classroom.

Looking ahead, we are excited to announce an upcoming parent workshop on the "Power of Play." This workshop is scheduled for Wednesday, 17th January, at 8:45 am in the Black Box D2. We encourage all EY parents to attend and explore the significance of play in early childhood development. Your active participation in these workshops strengthens the partnership between home and school, ensuring the best possible support for your child's growth and learning.

Thank you for your continued support, and I look forward to another enriching term at Pre-Prep.

Best regards,

Sophie Berry
