Head of Pre-Prep's Message

I would like to begin by thanking  all the parents of Nursery and Reception children who attended the recent Parent-Teacher meetings. Your involvement and support are invaluable, and we appreciate your commitment to your child's education and development.

This week has been an absolute delight as we witnessed the wonderful talents of our Year 1 and 2 children who took the stage in the Araya Hall to perform 'Penguins Save Christmas World.' The children were absolutely fantastic, showcasing their talents and spreading the joyous Christmas spirit. A huge thank you to all the parents for providing such incredible costumes and for gracing the event with your presence. Your support and encouragement truly make these moments memorable for our little stars.

Following the heartwarming performance, our DBS Christmas Tree lighting ceremony further enhanced the festive cheer. It was a magical sight, witnessing the joy on everyone's faces as we lit up the tree and embraced the holiday season together.

Today was filled with laughter and fun during our Pre-Prep Christmas assembly hosted by Mr. Ashmore. Mr Ashmore shared Christmas jokes and what Christmas looks like across the world, as well as singing Christmas songs led by Mr Gower.  The highlight, undoubtedly, was the arrival of Santa Claus himself, bringing joy and gifts for our excited children.

A gentle reminder to all parents of Early Years children: please ensure the clear display of your pink parking sticker to facilitate a smooth parking experience for everyone.

As we head into the long weekend, I hope you enjoy this time with your families and children. We look forward to the children's return to school on Wednesday, 6th December, ready to continue our festive celebrations and learning journey together.

I'd also like to gently remind you about the shoebox appeal for the Beaumont School children. We are filling these boxes with essential items and small gifts to bring joy to those who may not have as much this Christmas. Your generosity and kindness will make a significant difference in brightening someone else's holiday season.

Many thanks,

Sophie Berry
