Deputy Headmaster's Message - Message of Thanks
Dear Parents and Guardians,
A simple message of thanks from me this week.
Firstly, thank you to the parents and guardians of our wonderful students for supporting them through what is, traditionally, the longest term of the academic year. Our students have done some wonderful things this year, and we know that they are able to do so from the support they receive at home. This can be from being the taxi - taking your child to and from events, being the bank - supporting your child on residentials and FOBISIA events, or even simply just taking the time to read with them every evening to help them make the progress in English we have seen this term.
I would also like to say thank you to Mr Hugh Cocke and Mr Andrew Griffiths, our Advisory Board members, who joined us for two weeks from the UK to observe what we are doing and to provide feedback. Their insight, based on numerous years experience in education (too numerous to mention here), is always valuable and always most welcome.
Finally, thank you to both our academic and admin teams for making this term happen as well as it did. It takes a lot of hard work, much of it behind the scenes, but their efforts directly contribute to the enriching experiences of our students.
Merry Christmas to those celebrating and a Happy New Year to all,
Simon Fowler
Deputy Headmaster
