 LIVE MUSIC @ CHRISTMAS LIGHTING 2023


Our recent Christmas Tree Lighting event at DBS was nothing short of magical - from the bustling farmers' market offering delicious treats, to the stunning performance by MINDY, a T-pop sensation featuring our talented Ilene (Year 10). On Thursday, 30 Nov, the central Courtyard transformed into a festive wonderland of tinkling lights, which was further illuminated beautifully at 6 PM by our Headmaster turning on the Christmas tree lights.


Turning our attention to the performing arts, our After-School Activities (ASA) team brought the stage alive with an eclectic mix of ballet, hip hop, and live bands, creating a perfect blend of styles. The spirit of Christmas also echoed through the retelling of the nativity story, and the DBS Jazz Ensemble's Christmassy tunes. A night of community, celebration, and cheer - truly a season to remember at DBS!

STUDENT & STAFF CHORAL PERFORMANCE


Our Senior School's end-of-term celebration assembly on Monday, 11 Dec was uplifted by the beautiful collaboration of our Chamber Choir and staff singers. They performed the inspiring 'All Will Be Well' by Will Todd and the festive classic 'Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas.' These performances, echoing themes of resilience and unity, reminded us all that together, we can overcome any challenge. Here's to ending the term on a high note and looking forward to a holiday season filled with joy and hope.

DBS EXCELLENCE @ BCC COMPETITION


Bright, one of our Music scholars from Year 8, recently soared to royal success by clinching the first prize in the under-15 solo drum kit category. This prestigious award, held under the royal patronage of Her Majesty The Queen Suthida Bajarasudha Bimollaksana, is a testament to the extraordinary standards our Music scholars at DBS consistently uphold.
