Bumblebee Class

A huge well done to bumblebee class for their fabulous performance in the EY Christmas show. This week you all achieved  ‘Star of the week’ for showing courage, humility and empathy! 

This week we have been continuing our learning about Africa. We have talked about the similarities and differences between some African toys and some Thai toys, and even designed our own toy we will create next week. 

We have been learning about different celebrations such as Christmas. We were very creative when decorating our classroom. We have also been busy learning about and preparing for Loy Krathong on Monday!  

In phonics we have been consolidating all set one sounds. We have been thinking about initial and final sounds. Thank you to all families who have supported this by reading the sound blending books at home. In maths we have been exploring part part whole.
