Headmaster's message Friday 22nd September
Dear Parents and Guardians,
We have had another productive week here at DBS.
Last weekend we hosted the Denla Group swimming gala, a fun day with a high standard of competition. It is one of the advantages of being part of a group that our students get to take part in these activities.
On Tuesday, we held the Cool 4 school workshop led by Marcel Pusey. It was very fun to end the day seeing our Pre-Prep and Prep students dancing on the stage and even our parents dancing at the end.
On Thursday, we held our first open day of the year. Some parents commented on the politeness of our students and it is pleasing to see them making such a positive impression.
Today, Mr Dunphy and I are gong to to visit the Beaumont Ruam Pattana School who we supported last year through our charity event. We are looking forward to seeing the impact of our donations and looking at how we can further establish links and support the school.
This week we held the first of our parent briefings on residentials which were well attended and outlined the itinerary as well as health and safety procedures. The remaining meetings will take place next week.
Have a nice weekend.
