Head of Pre-Prep's Message
Dear Pre-Prep Parents,
I want to extend my sincere gratitude to all the parents who joined us for the swimming workshop last week. It was heartwarming to see so many of you taking an active interest in your child's swimming journey. Your engagement and insightful questions made the workshop a resounding success. During the workshop, Mr. Bridges, our Director of Sports, and Mr. Green, one of our dedicated Swim Coaches, shared valuable insights into our approach to swimming in the Early Years. Your support and partnership in ensuring a safe and enjoyable swimming experience for your child are greatly appreciated. We look forward to seeing you next week at the Nursery and Reception ‘Swim Showcase’ where you will be able to watch your child’s swimming lesson. Your child’s Class Teacher will send additional information for the session on Seesaw.
We understand that one common concern that arises during swimming lessons is wet hair. We want to assure you that we take your feedback seriously and have taken steps to address this issue. We are pleased to let you know that hair towels are available in the school shop. These towels are specially designed to help dry your child's hair quickly after their swimming lesson. You can purchase them for your child's convenience. To reduce wait times and ensure a more efficient changing room experience, we have installed more hair dryers in the changing rooms. This will help children dry their hair promptly and comfortably. Additionally, we adjust the air conditioning settings in the classroom to make it warmer when the children return from their swimming lesson, ensuring their comfort after the swim. Your child's comfort and well-being remain our top priority.
I am thrilled to introduce our newest program, "Baby Dragons" playgroup, which takes place every Tuesday and Thursday. The response to this program has been overwhelming, and we're delighted to share that we are already at full capacity! During Baby Dragons playgroup sessions, the children enjoy a world of fun and learning. On Tuesdays. they engage in songs, explore rhymes, listen to captivating stories, and unleash their creativity through various activities. On Thursdays, we shift our focus to physical development in The Garden, where children enjoy playing in the sandpit, riding bikes, splashing in the stream, and engaging in balancing and climbing activities. If you are interested in enrolling your child in the Baby Dragons playgroup in the future, please let us know, and we will keep you informed about any openings that may arise.
If you have any questions or would like more information about Baby Dragons or any other aspect of the Pre-Prep, please feel free to reach out to us. Your involvement and enthusiasm are greatly appreciated. Thank you once again for your commitment to your child's education and well-being.
Best wishes,
