COOL4SCHOOL IS BACK

On Tuesday, 19 Sep, w
e were honoured to host Marcel, the founder of Cool4School, for the second year running at DBS today. Our Pre-Prep and Prep students were treated to an unforgettable day of high-energy workshops. Through a blend of diverse musical genres like Reggae, Latin, and Funk, Marcel brought rhythms and grooves to life, captivating our students and sparking their enthusiasm for music.

Beyond just melodies, the workshops intertwined movement and dance, providing a holistic experience that not only taught musicality but also encouraged physical activity. Such hands-on, immersive sessions remind us of the power of music in education, and the importance of fostering a love for it from a young age.

We're grateful for this collaboration with Cool4School and look forward to more musical adventures with Marcel in the future.

This isn't just a tour; it's an opportunity. An opportunity for our young musicians to showcase their talents, gain exposure to diverse audiences, and most importantly, to grow as performers.

Venue: D4 Black Box

The performance will conclude with a short Q&A session for any parents or staff keen to learn more about the tour. Refreshments will also be served. We have also set up a Google Form for parents to RSVP, assisting us in preparing seating and catering arrangements.
